Each cookie is glazed then stenciled.  Individually bagged cookies are also available for .35 extra per cookie. 

Sugar cookies are the cookie of choice for these.  These can also be used for mini-round cakes, lg. round petit fours, or 8" round cakes.

Heck, we can figure out a zillion uses if need be!
